This is such a good and thorough post about truth!

This reminds me of a saying by Saint Anthony the Great: "A time will come when men will go mad, and when they see a man who is not mad, they will attack him and say, 'You are mad. You are not like us.'"

And as you said in your post, truth exposes us first and foremost, and you’re absolutely right when you say that truth and humility are related, since it is the ego that rejects the truth that exposes it.

Thank you for sharing this post! It’s definitely very necessary and helpful!

Great post sis🤍

I love when you said: "We often imagine that discovering the truth will expose everyone else’s flaws. Yet one of the first things truth exposes is our own. That may be why Scripture repeatedly connects truth with humility. The person who loves the truth must also be willing to be corrected by it. And that is uncomfortable. Because once we see clearly, we can no longer pretend not to know."

So true!🤍 I had to learn that there's a daily examination of the heart that has to take place' daily surrender, daily repentance, and daily realignment with Him. i'm so grateful for our Father and the grace He extends to us every step of the way.
